Playing cards have been used throughout history to entertain and to educate resulting in an extraordinary array of playing card packs with different designs. In this project, Ensemble Augelletti explore the historic playing cards held in the British museum and connect them to different pieces of music, filmed live at the Voces8 Centre. 30 of these videos are generously sponsored by the Continuo Foundation and new videos will be released on Friday afternoons over 2022-2023.
